Well, I apologize for the lack of posting over the past several weeks. Here is my excuse: Daughter's wedding and Vacation Bible School. This is our church, Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church in Cannon County, TN.Beautiful steeple donated by Mrs. Lois Nunley in memory of her husband. What a beautiful sight.
Beautiful wood work created by a member when the church was built in the early 1900's.
Whew, what several weeks we have had! Here are a few pictures from Lana and Joe's wedding.
Shower at church:
Lana and her mom, Melanie, opening gifts and writing down gift givers.
Lana happy after opening all of her gifts....
Pics from rehearsal, thank goodness it doesn't show mom crying starting early. I had to get ready for the big day.
Amber and Autumn, beautiful nieces of my daughter-in-law Kelly, were the flower girls, sweet little man, Yates, son of now brother-in-law Mike and wife, Heather, Ashley and Kelly who were bridesmaids.
Now for a few pics from the big day: Kelly starting doing everyone's hair at 7:00 at morning:
Sign we posted at the road to turn to the church from Highway 53S.
Lana and her brother, Justin, sharing a family meal before the wedding, leftovers from the rehearsal dinner. Sweet!!!
Kelly adding a few more last minute curls to Ashley's hair:
One of Lana's favorites, with her cow"girl" boots on. And no, she did not wear these during the ceremony even though I think they were more comfortable.
The MEN, Left to Right: Groomsman-Mike Junkins, Brother of the groom-Mike Geren, Ring Bearer-Yates Geren, nephew of the groom, JOE THE GROOM, Joe Geren Jr., father of the groom, and Joey Geren, son of the groom. Good looking guys!
